Vintage Classic T-Shirt Ideas

I have been loving discovering the things we can create using AI technology. I’m not super techy (this site is an indication) but I’ve enjoyed creating graphics since I was a kid.

In my youth we’d buy t-shirts that had cool images and words on them, usually some combination of fast cars, fast women, and rock n roll sayings. By age 15 I was creating my own designs and selling them to friends, for a while I even custom painted jean jackets (that was a thing).

I recently started using Grok (a tool available on X.com) to create graphics like the ones I’m sharing here. I’ve been combining t-shirt memories from my childhood and matching them to domains I own. In this case BallsOut.com, which is a term much often associated with speed and performance.

Here’s an example of a prompt I’d use to create the graphics you are seeing here.

Sketch a vintage t-shirt design with a female riding a motorcycle, hair flowing, patriotic. The words “BallsOut.com” boldly on screen.

I don’t know that I’d wear these designs on t-shirts today but when I was 13 I’d have a collection of shirts like these. Farrah Fawcett, Daisy Duke and others.

Want something other than motorcycles? No problem, how about a rocket? Rockets go balls out or they don’t go at all. I seem to recall images of women on rockets but that may be my subconscious or imagination.

They look cool but they aren’t perfect, if you look closely you’ll notice the fingers are off count. However, when I was a kid everything was silk screen printed and t-shirts didn’t come out anywhere near this good. We are entering an entire new world of creativity.

OK, one more image. Balls Out Skydiving. Just in case the rocket doesn’t make it out of earth’s atmosphere and you have to haul it back to the planet. Safety First.

If you made it this far awesome, thanks for reading this post. Ask yourself “does the brand/domain fit the images?” A good dot com will do exactly that, and THAT is one of the very cool things about a brandable domain name. We could have done sports, dogs, racing, rockets, or nearly anything high performance or sports related and this domain name would fit. Heck, we could do men’s grooming supplies but you probably would have left the page long ago. Cheers!
